why does it say “guys in bands”? what difference is a guy in a band and any ordinary show goer.  people just love to call everything creepy when it involves a guy in a band because they somehow look at him as a higher up.  ok gotta get ready for the gig bye.

just adding my two cents in: I know a lot of white males who are VERY aware of misogyny and rape culture in not only hardcore but in day to day life as well. Just because someone is white and male doesn’t mean they are any less aware of reality.
The reality is, that is exists. Ya’ll just can’t put the blame on someone because of their race, gender or even the fact that they are in bands.
Long Island is cool. Being aware and educated is cool.

My two cents: opening up conversation to a topic like sexism is important, BUT putting the blame on a specific group of people doesn’t do your argument any justice. White males are not the only group of people that are sexist; girls can be just as sexist, misogynistic, and stereotyping as guys, regardless of race or sexual preference. Stop pointing the finger, and start opening your mind.

With that being said, this zine didn’t do any finger pointing nor did it call out LIHC. It had some cool recipes in it.
